Fresh Water Services Heider Construction has had many years of experience in supplying fresh water services to residential, commercial and industrial buildings. In the photos below we used our Trenchless Technology to drill across busy Memorial Drive in Cambridge to install a new two inch flexible water line for the Charles River Yacht Club.
We directional drilled from the median strip under the northbound lane of Memorial Drive, and under the busy bike and jogging path to the boathouse. Then we pulled the new water line back to the drill machine, turned the rig around and drilled under the southbound side to the city water main.
We pulled the other half of the new line back from the water main and connected the two pipes under the median strip. We never had to stop or interrupt traffic during the entire operation. |
